Our Vision

To map the assets and needs of the alpaca farmers in our area in order to achieve the following main goals:

  • Develop a robust database with information about alpaca farmers in the Rust Belt Fibershed

  • Build relationships with and between local alpaca farmers in order to foster future connections within a regenerative supply web

  • Understand any road blocks for creating local, climate-beneficial alpaca cloth

  • Establish a partnership with existing formal and informal Alpaca groups to unify efforts in promoting local alpaca and alpaca farmers

  • Create a video product that showcases this brilliant resource for potential investors and businesses within our fibershed.
