This will be a two-week series that will familiarize you with the mission, purpose, and potential of building a strong Fibershed!
Session 1: Wednesday, Feb 23 at 7PM
Session 2: Wednesday March 2 at 7PM
The first week will focus on a more general overview: what a fibershed is, how it functions, linear vs. circular systems, industry pollution, human health, and ecological well-being. This is perfect for those of you who have heard about fibersheds but are still a little unclear on some of the details.
The second week will focus a little more specifically on the bioregion of Rust Belt Fibershed- our specific goals and intentions, introducing you to some of our producers, and we will also hold a Q and A and brainstorming session for how we can strengthen our fibershed, empower our people, and regenerate our ecology and economy! There are so many possibilities for this. You don’t want to miss out!
These series are donation-based to help cover our costs!
