Please join us on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in the Great Lakes Brewing Tasting Room for our fifth Eco Meet CLE, organized by Venture Forward Strategies and Eco Speaks CLE and hosted by Great Lakes Brewing Company. Please register by February 13th.
The focus of this Eco Meet is about creating a sustainable, local textile economy! How might we bring back textile and clothing production in Cleveland that prioritizes sustainable production, regional manufacturing, and natural materials? Is it possible to source everything we need within a 250-mile radius of Cleveland? Can we set a new standard for clothing manufacturing that is circular, emphasizes quality over quantity, and supports our local workforce? Join us and hear from a panel of speakers from the local textile ecosystem who are working to make all this happen and more.
